From the Principal
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. ~ Hebrews 13:8
February 23, 2018
This has been a rather quiet week around the campus. With the older students working on their ITBS tests in the mornings and the rainy weather, we have been a bit low key. Thank you parents for having your students here and prepared to test.
I am seeing some really beautiful things coming in for our annual auction. Just one more week to go! I really hope that you have gotten your tickets to attend. It is a great evening and this year's theme A Lone Star Night, will be a lot of fun. Many of you have worked very hard and it is very much appreciated.
One week from Wednesday will be the annual academic fair. This year's fair is a Science Fair as I am sure most of you know. The students in grades 3-6 have been working hard on their projects. Per many of your suggestions, our teachers have tried to make the projects easier by having most of it done at school. I know it has been hard for some of you to let go and let your child do the work on their own, but it is important for them to learn how. We know, at least we hope, that parents already know how to do a project! Now it is the children's turn to learn.
The Science Fair will begin at 3pm on Wednesday, March 7 in the gym. All students, PK2-6th grade, will have projects on display. I hope that you will take the time to come down and check them all out. Students in grades 3-6 are required to attend to their project from 3-4:30 that afternoon. At the end of the Fair they will be taking their projects home.
